Final update

Hello everyone! Just a update from my non existence lately, I just  got back from Taipei eight days ago and have been constantly occupying myself by shopping, resting and clubbing. Hence, as evidently shown on my blog, I didn’t have much time to blog. Okay maybe I did just that I was too lazy to start composing an entry.

The four days spent in Taipei with my mother and sister was surprisingly fantastic, even though I was a little apprehensive at first, choosing it as a holiday destination. Prior to reaching the country, the flight there was relaxing. With extra wide leg room and adjustable seats, SIA sure knows how to pamper their customers properly.

We reached the Taipei international airport at approximately 1.00 in the afternoon and oh my, whatever my sister told me about their mannerism before , really came true. The sales staff at the airport’s DFS were so cheerful and welcoming, but that couldn’t been tolerated for sometime.

After checking in to our hotel, we commenced our four day major shopping spree. We adjourned to one of Taipei’s more patronised mall, Mitsukhoshi(if it spelt that way). Let’s call the shopping M instead. M is supposedly a departmental store and in Taipei, there have four buildings, strictly catered to the store. They are namely A8, A9, A10 and A11.

So we spent the rest of the day shopping , eating ( gaining that extra pounds) and finally retired early that night.

The second day was more interesting. We decided to head to Taipei’s tallest building, Taipei 101 , to kaypoh kaypoh by taking a good look at the view from the 88-89th floor. The scenery was predictably darn good. Just that we weren’t able to hear what the automated walking guide was playing but yeah, enjoying looking at the view was pretty much the best.

After that, we headed to XimenDing, Taipei’s so called shopping paradise for youths , or equivalent to our far east plaza, except they have long stretches of lanes with plenty of shops. So yes, we shopped even more and even tried eating “mee sua” while standing up.

XimenDing reminded me of a typical japanese alley because of the numerous signboards protruding out from the side of the small buildings. I still can’t believe how the taiwanese are so influenced by the japanese culture. Even their name cards are so meticulously crafted.

The third and last day were pretty much the same. Shopping, eating, spending of money and checking out the books at Taipei’s bookstore, ESLITE. oh my god, I LOVED the magazine section. Before I continue with that, let me provide you with how ESLITE is like. First think of Borders, then multiply the size of borders times 6 (vertically).  Yes, ESLITE has 6-8 levels of books and shops, with each other the size or even bigger than our Borders bookstore.

The magazine section was holycrap, one of my most favourite hangouts. Reason being, all the rest of the books were mostly written in Mandarin and to find a book published in English, was like finding a needle in a haystack. Anyway, ESLITE offers so many varieties of magazines that it is not even funny. I literally spent the first , third and last day at that section. HAHAH. Girls, you would love it so much because of the fashion section.

Okay enough about the magazines, simply summing up my Taipei trip, it was one of the best ever. I really owe it to my sister and mother for accompanying me and also to my father for making us travel to and fro in luxury. Not only that, the holiday made my sister , mother and I bond more. Recalling what a friend said to me, family will always be there for you , no matter what. While on the other hand, good friends are hard to find but they do exist.

That’s why this Christmas has been one of the best ever. Honestly, being able to spend it with two greatest friends of mine, Diyana and Andrew. Thank you both so much for withstanding every single event that happened and revolved around us. From the day we first met each other, till now. I hope our friendships would last for more and more years to come. I love them because they are true and genuine , and they have always been there for me.

Also, to my new found friends , thank you for making Christmas Eve enjoyable. All that dancing and alcohol HAHAH.

Not forgetting, to those who I didn’t have to the chance to spend Christmas with, I really appreciate all of you for being there for me. Every single one of you , I will remember.

Now that the new year is coming, I will be closing this blog and will start blog in an entirely new one.

2008 has provided me with a roller coaster of emotions , and yet dropping me surprises. This year has definitely taught me a lot, from the importance of trusting the right people, to treasuring friendships and also, it has brought me one thing that I have to thankful of, and that would be to love. It was only in this year that I got into my very first relationship.

It would be a bittersweet goodbye by I really am anticipating the arrival of 2009. And it is in this new year where I will start loving myself more. So till the new year, I will be back with more entries , a whole new blog and a brand new me.

Before I close this blog with this entry, I WISH YOU ALL AN ADVANCED HAPPY NEW YEAR AND ALL THE BEST IN YOUR ENDEAVOUR AHEAD.

Never going to hear a sound.

You asked for it. You wanted me gone and now you feel vicitimised.

I just simply granted your wish, yet I still get blamed for it.

Seriously, I don’t know what you want.

Make up your mind and move on please.

Digressing, the weekend was awesome. Started with One show advertising on Saturday and ended with clubbing at St James last night.

But now it’s to school soon! For a make up lecture. Zomg.

Seriously.. there’s no point :-)

If you want me gone, yeah then I will disappear from you perfectly

You could start by removing every fragment of me. Like how I did to you .
